Students for Quality Education at Chico State work towards “No Harm, Disarm”
The SQE Chapter at Chico State has actively worked on the “No Harm, Disarm” campaign and took lead in anchoring and working with the Sacramento State chapter of SQE on the Northern California actions for May Day 2021. Highlighting the need to defund and divest from the University Police, the SQE interns and chapter have collaborated at the campus in university forums to raise awareness of alternative ways to fund mental health support for students instead of using University Police to go out to those calls. Follow SQE on Instagram to learn more about ways to get involved, or send an email to the chapter SQE here: csuchico.sqe@gmail.com.
