INFOGRAPHIC: Proposals for Mental and Physical Safety: Anti-Racism and Social Justice
CFA knows that a physically and mentally safe CSU is the right of all faculty and students. It is what we are proposing in our contract and consistently advocating for daily.
We demand that the CSU meaningfully prioritize the health and safety of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQIA+, disabled, and women faculty.
Meaningful change can come from meeting counselor to student ratio standards and hiring diverse counselor faculty, providing alternatives to campus police, and creating an ombudsperson program to mediate faculty disputes.
