SQE Capitol Chapter Intern, Yahaira Victorino and Carmen Martinez attend the May Day action of the “No Harm, Disarm” campaign.
The SQE Chapter at Sacramento State has actively worked on the “No Harm, Disarm” campaign and took lead in anchoring the Northern California actions for May Day 2021. Highlighting the need to defund and divest from the University Police, the SQE interns and chapter have collaborated on highlighting ways in which funding can be used instead to help support student’s mental health services. The work continues and we invite you to look at the CFA Statewide SQE page for more ways to get involved with the campaign.
