Executive Board Spotlight: Chapter Treasurer Ann Fiegen

CFA chapter e-board and the treasurer position is a great way for faculty who are interested working with campus colleagues on CFA sponsored workshops and activities that benefit our members.  You participate by planning how to use our dues to benefit our chapter members.

Attendance at the CFA member assemblies has shown me what a strong union of faculty from across the CSU can do working together for public higher education in California.  It is a privilege to get to know faculty from all the 23 CSU campuses.  Our active participation does have positive results.

As Treasurer of our campus chapter, I keep the checkbook and arrange for reimbursements for expenses incurred for chapter workshops and other chapter activities.  I report on chapter expenses monthly to our e-board and to CFA state-wide accountants.  I attend bi-weekly campus board meetings. I serve a two-year term.
