CFA’s Lecturers’ Council voted to issue a letter of support for all faculty participating in National Adjunct Walkout Day, a Feb. 25 protest intended to spotlight the increasing use of contingent faculty and their working conditions.

Nearly 3,000 faculty have taken the CFA survey about the impact of  compensation on faculty in the CSU. More responses are needed before CFA’s Bargaining Team heads to the next phase of negotiations on our pay.

Faculty Rights Tip of the Week: Intellectual Property Rights & Online Materials

Article 39 of our Collective Bargaining Agreement covers faculty intellectual property rights.  The article assures faculty retain the rights to materials they create, as long as there is no “extraordinary University support” in creating those materials.
