New Speakers Announced for the Council for Racial & Social Justice’s Equity Conference 2022
As we near the dates of the 2022 Equity Conference – From Here to There: Building the Social Justice Bridge, we continue to add to our exciting list of confirmed speakers. This week, CFA is pleased to announce that the conference will feature the following speakers:
- Dr. Luke Wood, Vice President for Student Affairs & Campus Diversity and Distinguished Professor of Education as SDSU, on building and retaining BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ faculty in the CSU;
- June “Jumakae” Kaeswith, professional artist, wellness consultant, and storytelling coach, on “dreaming as strategy”
These newly announced speakers are in addition to last week’s exciting announcement of Cecil Canton joining our Equity Conference this year.
The Equity Conference will be held online March 9 to March 12, and will bring together speakers, workshops, and healing spaces to focus on the themes of Strategies for Co-liberation, (In)/(Hyper)Visible Labor in the CSU, and Care and Healing Justice.
Please visit the Equity Conference website to learn more about the conference, themes, and speakers as they are announced.
