Elections for CFA Board of Directors positions will be held at CFA’s Spring Assembly on April 10. The following positions are currently up for nomination:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Associate Vice President – Lecturers (North and South)
  • Associate Vice President – Presidents (North and South)
  • Associate Vice President – Racial and Social Justice (North and South)
  • Committee Chairs – Coaches, Contract Development/Bargaining Strategy, Counselors, Librarians, Membership and Organizing, Political Action/Legislative, Representation

Candidates for President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer must declare their intention to run on the official CFA Declaration of Candidacy form no later than February 28. Members need not be members of the CFA Assembly to run for office or to nominate an individual. Individuals nominated by a second party must submit a written acceptance to the Elections Committee. The CFA Declaration of Candidacy form can be completed here.  Questions should be referred to the Elections Committee Chair or to elections@calfac.org.
