As CFA members dedicated to advancing fair wages and a safe and inclusive working environment, we recognize just how crucial the upcoming November 5 General Election will be for shaping labor policies and workers’ rights for the next decade.

The solidarity of a pro-worker plurality in the California Legislature was effective in helping CFA members secure important wins in reopener bargaining. By continuing to work closely with current officeholders and candidates, CFA members will ensure proper funding for the CSU as well as increased transparency of funds spent by management. We can reduce income inequality, improve paid family leave, push for alternatives to policing on our campuses, establish affordable housing, and continue to advocate for more counselors on our campuses to meet the mental health needs of CSU students.

CFA members will continue to elect higher education champions who are committed to advancing equity, inclusivity, and racial justice in our communities, workplaces, and students’ learning environments.

Be on the lookout – vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed out after the first week of October.

We hope you will join us in getting out the vote!
