Chairs Training
Department Chairs are faculty, and like all CSU faculty, Department Chairs are represented by CFA. In addition to teaching, performing research and/or producing discipline specific works, and service, Department Chairs are often instructed by deans or other administrators to take actions that impact the terms and conditions of employment of other faculty. As a result, sometimes being a chair can turn out to be a challenging experience.
This webpage consists of resources that can help you as a Department chair particularly in assigning work to lecturers and evaluating the work of faculty.
