Interrupting Racism Workshops Go Virtual

The CFA Council for Racial and Social Justice has created an online version of the Interruption: An Anti-Racism Workshop. This four-hour virtual experience – available as one session or a two-part series – promises to be highly interactive and thought-provoking.

Like the in-person workshop, there are pre-workshop assignments to help set the tone and focus for the virtual experience. Ultimately, the workshop goal is to help participants understand the four forms of racism and how they manifest throughout American history, specifically in our institutions and personal lives. CFA chapters and others from the university community can now request the workshop here.

“COVID-19 has required us to be flexible in the way we conduct our work. We’re glad to offer a virtual version of our Interrupting Racism workshop so this aspect of our critical anti-racism work can continue,” said Chris Cox, CFA Associate Vice President, Racial and Social Justice, North.
